Booking data and purpose
We collect the name and contact details, stay dates, accommodation choice, guest numbers and ages, booking preferences, requests, consent choices, and correspondence you provide. We use these details to prepare, fulfil, and manage your reservation, communicate about your stay, prevent misuse, and meet accounting or other legal obligations.
Who receives data
Our website hosting and booking email services handle the information needed to run the reservation service and send booking messages.
Online payments
Stripe processes online payment details and receives the booking and amount information needed for the charge. Card details are entered with Stripe and are not stored in our booking records.
Booking form protection
Google reCAPTCHA checks booking form submissions for abuse and receives technical information needed for that check, such as your IP address.
Accommodation maps
When you open an accommodation map, Google Maps receives the connection data needed to display map tiles, including your IP address.
WhatsApp contact
Opening the WhatsApp contact link sends the message and phone number you choose to WhatsApp. Booking updates through WhatsApp are sent only after your separate permission, which you can withdraw in the Guest Portal.
Optional marketing
Promotional email is sent only when you choose the separate marketing option. You can withdraw that choice by contacting us.
Retention
Completed and cancelled booking records are automatically anonymised after 365 days. Records needed for legal, tax, or accounting duties may be kept longer.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your data, object to some uses, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. Legal record keeping may limit deletion.
